this morning we discovered that our home portal has disappeared from Ingress, even though it still exists. I do not see any reason why it should be removed (except opposite faction does not like us ;). Please reinstall, thanks.
I’m going to assume they’re not going to put it back since it’s “just graffiti” or “you painted that yourself to manipulate the game board” or something like that.

I would assume as OP took a picture that it is still there. Cheetah on one side, dragon on the other.

Well, if you consider it just “graffiti”, then Niantic would have to delete around 1,000 portals out of 25,000+ portals in Berlin. There are ten more such Stromkasten as portals within 500 meters of the Drachenstromkasten.
The pictures on both sides of the Stromkasten are chosen/suggested by primary school children and the company then has them painted on the Stromkasten.
