Hi, I would like to appeal a rejected nomination of mine:
It is a small parc space in a residential area. Apparently it was mistaken for private propery and/or school grounds. Latter I guess because of a university building nearby, which does not touch the space in any way though.
Now my problem is, that I cannot find the appeal button. I have raised appeals in the past, my last one was actually from the beginning of May. In the meantime I should be able to use a new appeal, right?
Anybody can help?
The most likely explanation is that you have used both appeals within the past 15 days, but have forgotten.
Check your nominations and filter for those that have been appealed, to see if this helps you remember. Also check your emails, as you get an email when you appeal as well as when the appeal result comes through.
Life would be so much easier if it was simply greyed out whilst unavailable, rather than blank.
And to make the world even better if it had an indicator of when an appeal will be available.
The greying out would only help slightly if at all! People would still be wondering why it was greyed out, especially if it was greyed out without any indication as to why. Actually, this would be awful UI, just as bad as removing a button completely without any indication as to why.
From a UI perspective, removing a feature that the users expects to see should come with an explanation. Such as the indicator you suggest.
