I would like to clarify that the location is a church used for regular worship services and community gatherings, and it is not part of a private residence. The church is open to members of the community and serves as a place of worship and social gathering for residents in the area. As a religious place of gathering, it aligns with Wayfarer criteria that encourage locations where people can socialize and connect with their community.
The building is safely accessible and functions as a recognized local landmark within the subdivision. Because of this, I believe it meets the eligibility criteria for a Wayspot.
I kindly request a reconsideration of this nomination.
In order to appeal a community rejection, you need to use the Appeal button on the wayspot submission in your wayfarer account. If you don’t have an Appeal button showing, you have used both appeals up and will need to wait 15 days after you used the first one, as each appeal refreshes after 15 days.
When you appeal, provide evidence that this is not single-family private residential property (SFPRP). This might be a simple streetview link or might be a website. Don’t just say it is not private, as the appeal reviewer will need proof.
Alternatively, resubmit, making sure you include evidence of not being SFPRP.
If you would like feedback on your submission, feel free to make a post under Nomination Support. Members of the community will likely help you spot any potential issue, maybe there is one with the photo or description. Make sure to provide screenshots (and the copied text) etc. of the entire submission.
Also, do note that the rejection reasons given may not accurately reflect the actual issue, as they sound super specific but are actually used for broad reasons.
Hello @Waterlemonaid
I am going to move this to Nomination Support, as that is the best place for the community to help you.
If you would like some feedback from the community about the nomination either before you make an appeal once one becomes available or whether it is better to make a new submission, do post your submission in full and the location.
