Appeal for restoring removed Wayspot

  • Wayspot Title: Gedenktafel Römerstraße
  • Location (lat/lon): 48.048759, 11.510638
  • City: Pullach im Isartal
  • Country: Germany
  • Additional Information (if any):
I’m not sure why this spot has been removed for the third time, or how it was even removed. A wayspot is an additional sign on a street sign that contains useful and valuable information about the street’s naming and thus the history of the place. The place has several of these additional signs, and I have submitted many of them and added them to the system as wayspots. The signs are usually located at the beginning and end of the street and are unique to the street. It is publicly and safely accessible, it is permanently present, and it is in the correct position, as can be clearly seen on Streetview. The photo is descriptive, and the description is the complete text on the image.

Did u appeal for its removal last time?
Putting the link would help people understand the story about this wayspot so u dont have to explain again.

I can understand why its removed. It seems like regular street marker (if we remove the history part). The history is cool but i still not sure how many of this thing to make it distinct enough.

Anyway. If it got reinstate, i suggest u report abuse so that you can catch whoever report this for removal. This can happen because whoever review removal may not be the same person who review the appeal here.

Thanks for the appeal, @zeitautomatik We have taken another look but stand by our decision to retire the Wayspot.
