It has been 21 days since I posted this request, and I have had other messages in this category addressed since then.

So, feels like long enough to make sure this one didn’t get lost.

Oh usually photo removals are through Help Chat. Sorry we missed this post.

Go to Niantic Wayfarer and request the removal through the speech bubble. A bot will respond at first, but a human will get the request.

What is the proper path these days?

The reason I had posted here was because the path I had been using through help was no longer available.

Try help chat - i haven’t done one in a while, but i believe it is under the abuse heading then criteria issues. don’t worry that you are going to get someone in trouble for following the abuse path, that is just the pathway.

I found the ticket saver from the last one I did. It went
Report Wayfarer Abuse > Photo Issues
That was August 4, 2023 so lmk if it has changed.

By path, I did mean the path under Help Chat.

They’d removed options once appeals became available under contributions. In particular, it used to be that we used one of the appeal options under Portal Edits, but the only thing under that option now is >10m moves.

Anyway, found it under Abuse which, as you suggest, does make me feel a bit skeezy.
