Hi everyone,
I’d like to explain my situation clearly and ask for some guidance regarding a Wayfarer ban.
A little over a month ago, I received a ban that, as far as I understand, was triggered by an appeal I submitted for a wayspot nomination that had previously been rejected by the community. I live in an area where it is particularly difficult to get legitimate, well-documented nominations approved due to a very strict and inflexible group of local reviewers. Because of this, I have relied mainly on the appeal system, which had worked successfully for me several times throughout the year.
In this specific case, I followed the same approach. The appeal was ultimately rejected, and shortly afterward the action was classified as abusive behavior.
After completing the 30-day ban, my Pokémon GO account was restored, but my Wayfarer access has not been reinstated. This raises an important question for me: does this mean that the Wayfarer ban is permanent, or is there a process to appeal or recover access after the temporary suspension period?
I fully accept responsibility for the mistake, but the outcome feels disproportionate given that the suspension period has already been served and there was no malicious intent behind the nomination. I would really appreciate any clarification or advice from those who may have gone through a similar situation or are familiar with how Wayfarer bans are handled.
