This image is indeed available on athird party site. We stand by our decision.
When submitting wayspots, do not post the main photo anywhere else (except to this forum when asking for advice, as posts here can be explicitly attributed to your account).
If you want to post to other places to ask for advice, take two photos - one for advice and one for the submission.
edit: removed reference saying supporting photo shouldn’t be posted elsewhere, as per the comment from @RoIi112
There’s no guidance that says supporting photos cannot be 3rd party photos, theres various reasons why someone can go with 3rd party photos, specially now with multiple photos being possible in web submit.

rela mente envie por la web pero luego cuando me envio al correo solo salia dos fotos , por eso subi donde esta el lago varias fotos en gogle maps, por que es un nuevo lago creado en el parque que esta rodeado por arena y palmera para que sea un oasis. en gogle emaps satelite no se ve por ese motivo lo subi varias fotos en gogle maps
You are not the only person to have done this. Niantic cannot tell the photo on google maps is yours. Reviewers cannot tell the photo on google maps is yours.
Even if you upload with the same username, this does not mean the photo can be established as belonging to the person who submitted the wayspot.
Now that you know, you can easily avoid this happening again.
si eso me lo llevo, pero si vez la fecha que se a subido son diferente, en wayfarer se a subido antes que google maps para eso los de niantic y los embajadores debe tener cuenta
la fecha de publicacion
Las reglas estan en pie para que sean justas para todos, la comunidad evaluando no sabe cuando se subieron las fotos, entonces tienen todo derecho de rechazar. Los embajadores no tenemos esos datos tampoco, solamente Niantic.
