Frustrated with Rejection of Valid Nominations in Koloriang

Hi Wayfarer Community,I’m really disappointed and confused after submitting over 28 nominations while exploring Koloriang town (covering approximately 8 km from east to west and north to south). I carefully followed all the Wayfarer requirements, ensuring each nomination was valid and eligible—landmarks like the Royal Gym, Mother Mary Statue, Subhash Chandra Bose Bust, Indoor Badminton Court, Post Office, Freedom Fighters Mural, Stone of Bridge, and TB Harega Desh Jeetega Mural. Despite this effort, all these submissions were rejected with the same reason: "The text or photo contains abuse, ridicule, or harassment of a specific person or group."I’ve reviewed my submissions multiple times and cannot understand how these nominations could be considered abusive. These are public landmarks and community spots meant to guide tourists and locals, with clear descriptions and photos of places like a gym, a statue, a mural promoting awareness, and an inaugural stone. I roamed the town thoroughly, ensuring each nomination met the criteria, yet this outcome is baffling. Can someone please explain why this happened? I’d appreciate any guidance or clarification to improve future submissions. This feels discouraging after putting in so much effort to map my area accurately

On June 10, 2025, my Wayfarer appeal for the “Community Hall” in Koloriang was accepted (screenshot attached). I had originally submitted it with a low-quality photo, but after improving the image and providing a clear explanation of the location’s community value, the appeal was thankfully approved.

However, even after 4 days, the Wayspot is still not appearing in Pokémon GO. I understand that not all accepted nominations become PokéStops or Gyms due to internal game rules, but this location fits every criteria—public space, cultural importance, accessible, and safe.

As someone who’s reached Level 37 and is the only active Wayfarer contributor in our remote town, I’ve been working hard to improve the local play experience. I even managed to convince 27 friends to start playing, but due to the lack of stops and gyms (we have only 1 gym and 3 PokéStops total!), 4 of them have already quit, and more are likely to stop playing soon.

We truly need new Wayspots for our small, dedicated player base to grow and enjoy the game. The Community Hall is the only one in this locality, and it brings people together for all kinds of events.

Hey,

I see that the Wayspot in question has been retired. Having said that, I strongly recommend that you revisit the Wayspot Criteria.

Please , Checky new posts.

Hello and welcome @Baronangram
It’s not always easy to see how and where to post on the forum.
It would help if you kept more of your posts together as that would help fellow wayfinders get an overall picture of your situation.

I am going to merge this one into a post made in Review section.

It is standard practise to reject all pending nomination when we detect abuse. Please refer to the criteria and make sure that you understand them well before submitting further nominations. Any further abuse may result in the permanent suspension of your account.
