Once again, I have to appeal to get a PokéStop. I think it more than meets the criteria, and I see that others have been accepted with more than questionable criteria. It only makes me think that the community either only accepts their friends or is just here to annoy others.
First of all, my apologies. Your words have restored my trust in people and i trust less in AI. Hahaha. I’m giving up trying and I wish you all the best. Continue with your infinite patience, and once again, thank you to all of you who have responded with such empathy.
Comparing your submissions to other proposals for wayspots is not suggested. It could be wrongfully accepted and criteria changes over time. This is for both ingame wayspots and submissions you see while reviewing.
If as suggested you share your submissions we can try to see if there is an issue that we can help with. Hopefully you will then be in a stronger position with your nominations.
Please show your complete nomination (foto, title, description, supporting info, location) so that we can advice to improve it.
Even some that seems eligible can be rejected due to circumstances ( AI rejection, object not visible from street view and/or satelite, single family private residential property, school, safe pedestrian, etc)
I need to see it case by case before making more comments
Sorry to hear that you don’t want to share any of your nominations. There can be some good POIs that even ML, the AI system, rejects, and so being able to see the nominations may allow us to help you improve on your nominations so that they get passed ML and into community voting.
Keep in mind that you do not need to share all of your nomination info, such as the location. Sharing the title/description/photos/supporting info is usually enough for us to provide some feedback. If you want to hide the location info, you certainly can do that, but the rest of the info is important.
Keep in mind that you can’t base criteria off of what is already in-game, which could be the case here, but off of the Wayspot Criteria. As mentioned previously, criteria does change from tme to time, so there are Wayspots that have been accepted in the past that are no longer eligible.
I don’t think any of us got Wayfarer right away, and many of us submitting POIs that weren’t eligible when we first started, or had some issues with how we were submitting, such as low quality photos or lack of supporting info. One thing that has always helped me find the info I’m looking for is to search for it using the search bar on the forum’s home page. Say you want to know if Little Free LIbraries, or LFLs, may be eligible; you can do a search for LFL and there will be a good number of results that come up.
If you still would like to share your nomination, we’re still willing to help out. If not, look into using the search bar to see if you can find any threads about the type of POIs you are trying to submit
