As the festive season and the year draw to a close, we want to express our deepest gratitude for your passion and dedication this year. Your dedication drives Wayfarer forward, and together, we’ve made this one of our most accomplished years yet. Thank you for being the heart of our global community!

Wayfarer Ambassador Program - Year 4: We celebrated the continuation of the Ambassador Program, stepping into its fourth year of vital community leadership and engagement.

Wayfarer Challenges: Our community united for another successful Global Challenge, proving that together, we can achieve amazing milestones. We also focused on expanding and strengthening our presence in some new countries, bringing Wayfarer to new communities around the world.

GO Fest 2025: It was a true pleasure connecting with the Wayfinders community and distributing swag at this year’s GO Fest events in Osaka, New Jersey, and Paris.

Wayfarer Roadmap: We’re thrilled to have pushed forward on key roadmap items and shared our plans with the community.

Recognition Email: For the first time, we are sending out emails summarizing your individual Wayfarer achievements! These summaries highlight how your contributions have enhanced the Niantic experience for everyone around the world.

Web Submission: Wayfinders can now submit nominations directly through your Wayfarer account, benefiting from improved capabilities and with many more enhancements planned for the near future!

Wayfarer on the GO: The introduction of the Wayfarer Progressive Web App has significantly streamlined the mobile experience for Wayfinders, making it easier to manage and access their contributions and reviews directly from their device’s home screen while on the go.

Community Growth: Dropped the Pokémon GO eligibility level and welcomed many more new Wayfinders to the community.

Wayfarer AMA: We connected with you directly during our Wayfarer AMA, fostering transparency and answering your most pressing questions about the future.
This year’s successes belong to you, the Wayfarer community. We’re excited to continue building and improving alongside you, taking on new challenges and achieving even greater things in the year ahead! Stay tuned for a Wayfarer and Community 2025 Wrapped after we close out the year.
