They denied all my submissions I put plenty of effort into and they fit the guidelines perfectly, how do I close my account? Life has been really hard lately and I thought this would be fun to do but it’s really disappointing. I don’t see an option and I’m not going to contribute anymore, I don’t even want to hear back from my appeals it’s too disappointing failing at something so simple
Welcome to the forum, even though you want to leave.
I would recommend that you just not submit anything else for the time being, rather than try to get your account closed.
We can help you if you would like to post some of your rejections that you thought met all the criteria. Often people will submit what they see live in game, which may not be eligible per current criteria. You can choose to close but there are implications. If you post in Bug Reports & Technical Support the wayfarer team should be able to help.
It might be easier if you can to not look at wayfarer again.
I realise you are feeling very down about what has happened and it’s totally understandable if you are not getting success.
If you would like to give it a try this community will be happy to help you either improve what you have done or try to find stronger candidates.

I physically can not handle the stress I know it sounds stupid but my life has fallen apart and my therapist and I agreed this would be a good simple activity for me and it’s not
Wayfarer can be extremely annoying at times! But it can also be fun. I hope you’re feeling better soon. I would just close the tabs and leave it alone for now.

I am sorry to hear that you are having a rough time at the moment.
I myself started playing Pokemon Go due to health issues (more Physical) and then got in to Wayfarer which also helped when I suddenly had a lot more time on my hands 
.
Wayfarer can be enjoyable, the best piece of advice I heard here was to stop thinking “I would like a stop here” and instead “what would make a good wayspot”.
Only you know you and if you decide to stop wayfarer that is fine, no need to stop pokemon go as well.
If you would like to give Wayfarer another go (whether that is now or at any time in the future) people here will help.
Maybe you could…
- Give details of some that you have had rejected. We can advise why so either it could be improved or you can understand why.
- Give details of something that you plan to nominate and we can do the same with those.
- Give a general location (DO NOT use your home address) of where you would like some wayspots and people here will make suggestions.
The first priority is your health but if you decide that can include Wayfarer people here will be happy to help. “Most” of us don’t bite

It is disheartening to be rejected for perfectly valid submissions, probably by people who are just chasing a medal in Pokemon Go, maybe not even putting much thought into their judgements.
I travel a lot and like to try to improve the game with interesting landmarks and fill in gaps in destinations where there are few pokestops. I am often taking time out of my holidays to do this. If it isn’t giving you joy, I suggest to try to forget you even had an account.
I object to the medal. The qualification level is very high (up to 1,500 successful agreements and I haven’t succeeded the first stage) for players who are effectively paying with their time and effort to do the company’s work for them. A small reward in coins (limited per day to discourage spamming) would probably be more appropriate.

I have to totally disagree with your 1st paragraph. To get agreements you have to consider what others are likely to vote so the easiest way is to vote correctly.
Niantic have measures to stop reviewers from rapidly voting the same way for all nominations.

This is easily reachable especially if you follow what I said about paragraph 1. Just don’t expect to do it in an evening.
This would be great but I don’t see it happening. Niantic will have all the data and know that if they give more coins less people will spend real cash, less coins will put people off playing in the 1st place who might become real cash payers in the future. They will have not selected 50 a day at random.
Unfortunately, many posts on this forum show that one persons “perfectly valid submissions” are many others “do not meet criteria” and are Rejected correctly. Mistakes do happen and this is why we are given Appeals.

Nothing stupid about it, and I agree. The ai rejects far too many acceptable contributions, and this is just a game. You do what you need to to take care of your mental health. While there are some toxic players, most of us are here to enjoy a game, without negativity. You won’t be judged negatively by the majority.
