Recently I had an wayspot approved and it didn’t show up in Pokémon Go nor Ingress yet. While I am aware of the S2 cells criteria and I am sure it met it when I created it, I didn’t know about the 20m criteria for ingress, so that must be the problem (even though it should be on PoGO).
My question is, why isn’t in PoGO yet, and how can I edit its location if it’s in any of the games?
It can take up to 48 hours from it being approved to appear in game, and sometimes this process is skipped on Mondays in Pokémon Go, so in those cases it can take up to 72 hours. Has it been that long?
It was approved in the morning of March 3. So I guess there’s not 72 hours yet. Other wayspots that were approved after it are already in the games, though.
If its below 20m, it wont appear in ingress but according to s2 rule, there should be no problem for pogo. As far as i know, there is nothing else in that cell. And the playground is distinct enough to be recognised from satelite view so it should appear soon
If you log into pokemon go and go to submit a new stop at the location where it is, you should see it appears on the database. (It will appear as a the wayfarer exclamation mark)
Be sure to have this selected on the bottom left.
It shouldn’t be long until it syncs and is in game
It does appear to be the only Wayspot in the cell. The sports court Wayspot is in another L17 S2 cell, so the playground should be at least a stop in PoGo.
