While I am aware it may take a couple days for a pokestop to appear and it’s not guaranteed to show up, is there a way to, I guess, lobby for it to show up in game?
The pokestop in question was approved earlier this week after an appeal but it has been more than 48 hours and has not shown up in game. It should appear near these gyms pictured below.
I’m just a little bummed out I finally got a pokestop accepted and it hasn’t appeared in game after the 48 hour timeframe. Especially since this side of the mall doesn’t have many pokestops, just gyms. Any way to get it to appear in game???

Are you able to provide the location for your approved Wayspot? We can certainly check to see if it may appear in any of the games. I don’t know though, as this area already seems to have a good number of Wayspots.
Keep in mind that what we are doing is nominating Wayspots, not stops/gyms for PoGo or portals for Ingress. Each approved Wayspot gets added to the Lightship map, which each game uses to determine game play locations, with the exception of Power Spots, and each uses different density/inclusion rules. PoGo uses S2 cells, while Ingress uses a 20 meter rule. More info on S2 cells can be found here:

I believe I’ve found it. If one of those Gyms is Harkins, then that’s why your wayspot isn’t able to be in Pokémon Go. Harkins is in the same Level 17 S2 Cell as your piece of popcorn, and as the article linked to by @DTrain2002 explains, Pokémon Go has a limit of one Pokéstop or one Gym per Level 17 S2 Cell, so Harkins is blocking anything else from appearing in that cell.
Your nomination is in Ingress though (again, assuming I’ve found the correct location).

Thank you for looking into this for me! That is in fact the correct location. Bummer it won’t appear in Pokémon Go, but that’s all right. I appreciate it!
You’re welcome! Yeah, I’ve had a few Wayspots not make it into PoGo after approval. They do get used as Power Spots from time to time, so that could be something that happens in the future.

Do read the article about the use of S2 cells it will help avoid the frustration you have felt with this wayspot.
If you want to see how those cells apply in your area then you will need an ingress account so you can use that games Intel site, and some software called IITC that overlays the cells on top of it.
Google will help you find out more.
Take heart from the fact you were successful which bodes well for future submissions.
