I’m wondering if, since you just reached L8 in Ingress, if you are no longer able to join Wayfarer due to the Spatial/Scopely split.

This looks likes the case. I will confirm it on Monday.

Because Wayfarer is not syncing to Ingress regularly. So, Wayfarer is treating you wrt to the level you were at during the last sync.

We don’t know, as they are pushing manual syncs through from time to time. More info can be found here:

Hello Explorers, As you may have noticed, Wayfarer map and the Ingress map have stopped syncing as of two days ago. This is intended as part of the ongoing transition work on both teams. I’d like to confirm that this does not mean your approved submissions will no longer have the opportunity to sync with the Ingress map prior to the transition.
