I cannot log into wayfarer

    I just reached level 8 in ingress but I am told I need to reach level 8 in ingress still

Which login method are you using to access Wayfarer?

PS: Please do not share your credentials, just the login method.

My only credential was my fingerprint haha
I was using log in with apple

What web browser are you using? Have you tried a different web browser to see if you can log in with that one?

I would try a different web browser. Sometimes Safari doesn’t like Wayfarer from time to time.

Chrome and google do not work either

Well, I don’t use iOS devices, so other than restarting your iPad, I don’t know what else can be done. Hope someone else has some ideas.

I’m wondering if, since you just reached L8 in Ingress, if you are no longer able to join Wayfarer due to the Spatial/Scopely split.

But the thing said you have to reach level 8 in ingress, not just you are unable to access wayfarer

It was lowered to L8 at the beginning of the year, before the sale of Wayfarer to Scopely was announced. It’s possible that since the last announcement from staff that they are not allowing any new Ingress players to join Wayfarer, although no official date was listed. This is the specific part that was posted by staff on May 6th:

I don’t know what page you are referring to, but the help pages say L37 PoGo players are only eligible currently.

Pokémon GO players Level 37+ are eligible to participate in the program. More Niantic games may be eligible to contribute to the Wayfarer program in the future.

I did, and I provided the link to the help pages that note that only L37+ PoGo players are allowed to participate. Wayfarer is known to not always update some of the pages in a timely manner, and this seems to be the case.

If you want to participate in Wayfarer as of May 6th, you have to be at least L37 in PoGo; new Ingress players are no longer being accepted.
