I had this rejected by ai. So i appealed it, explaining it is the notto for the town, in gaelic, which roughly translates to “proceed with caution”, so ok, might come off as a bit of a warning sign, but i fully explained in the appeal box that it was a motto of the place, but nope, they cone back with its a common sign … common sign? Its literally the only one in existence. They really are just too lazy to bother reading now

Oh, and to add to that, just had this rejected as well, for generic sign board, depaite the submission literally including a full map of the trail, seriously, its so frustrating getting appeals rejected by such lazy reviewers, can the nia staff or ambos not have a word about this?

Can I add to this one my boat hire business that doesnt have detail about how its significant to the community, despite me mentioning how hiring a boat is a great way to explore the river and socialise together? How much more do I need to say?

I really feel your pain with that trail marker. Ive also had a few of those rejected for being generic signs of no significance.

I have had an appeal rejected where it was obvious the information provided was not read. It’s one where if you looked at just the picture and title you would reject but if you read the extra information & supplied evidence links it’s a guranteed pass.
It was an unusual one but that’s why we are given the opportunity to give extra information. Pointless if it’s not being read
