  • Additional Information (if any):

Last week I went for a stroll in Sepulveda Basin Wildlife Reserve area, starting from the parking area in the northern side of it:

Along the way I saw this stone with acorn carving:

Some distance down the trail there was another similar stone with acorn carving:

Then I came across the wayspot in question, but strangely there were no stones with acorn carvings here:

As I continued my stroll, I saw quite a lot of similar stones with acorn carvings on them:

I even recorded more videos of these stones - Video 1, Video 2, Video 3

And then at this spot I found so many stones with acorn carvings it’s not even funny.

I suggest we remove this wayspot for an object which is clearly mass-produced, serves purely decorative purpose, and can be seen almost everywhere in this park.

It looks as though these are part of a project called history of sounds

Have you investigated this project.

The big stone on the photo on that site can actually be seen on the last link I posted and is already a wayspot:

As for the smaller stones - there are at least a few dozens of them around the park. There’s no reason to have a wayspot for each mass-produced small stone. There are about 2 dozens of them just in this small area on the screenshot.

Thanks for the appeal, @Itsutsume After reviewing the additional evidence provided, we’ve decided to retire the Wayspot in question.
