Invalid Wayspot Appeal

  • Wayspot Title: Hot Spot Tot Lot Park

  • Location (lat/lon): 40.6311270, -73.9565680

  • City: Brooklyn

  • Country: United States

  • Screenshot of the Rejection Email:

  • Additional Information (if any):
The object of the wayspot is the hot spot tot lot sign. This sign has been removed a few years ago as seen in the supporting photos. With the object of the wayspot removed, the wayspot should also be removed. If the picture is changed, wouldnt the title also need to be changed to refer to the play equipment?

If you have to change both the title and picture of a wayspot, isnt that like creating a new wayspot? Also the location would be changed as well.

If the play equipment here still exists, then the Wayspot for the play park is still valid. Unfortunately, your photos don’t really do a good job of showing whether the play equipment still exists or not, as you’re focused on where the sign used to be instead.

If the sign is no longer there, you could request that the photos of it are removed so that the photo of the play equipment remains.

Thanks for the appeal @Tenzoria We took another look at the Wayspot in question and decided that it does not meet our criteria for removal at this time.
