Location appeal

When submitting a Wayspot Appeal, make sure to include as much of the following information as possible:

Actual location should be at original submission not at the nefariously changed location and you appeal reviewers should be looking at this properly!

Is the pinned location at the residential address shown in the photograph? If so, I would recommend that you send evidence - such as a link to a real estate listing - that the pinned location is in fact a residential address. As to the location of the trail marker, are you able to provide a link to a map of the trail. This would help the reviewers as well

Hello,

Location edits should be submitted via help chat on the Wayfarer website. The appeals forums is only to appeal rejected removal requests that are valid, or to ask for valid Wayspot restoration, if removed.

Please also note that Wayspots at locations without Street View can be hard to get moved, and, if this Wayspot is on private property, it should actually be removed per criteria.

Thanks - helpful - will do this. The marker is on the public footpath/trail and outside the PRP. Its database location is on the opposite side of the road.

My original supporting information:
Hiking Trails are in Niantic’s list of a great place to exercise. The Chess Valley Walk is a 10 mile trail from Chesham to Rickmansworth stations with spurs to interim stations to enable shorter walks to be done. Supporting image shows the house to the east which matches satellite view. Here is a link to a leaflet with a map http://www.riverchessassociation.co.uk/uploads/A4%20Chess%20Valley%20Walk.pdf which includes a description of this marker: “… Chenies Avenue. … walk all the way to the end and then take the path into the woods.”
