I sent in a location edit via Help Chat about 24 hours ago, and am unable to get back to it to see if there has been a response. The Waypoint is still showing the old location on the Wayfarer map, though I am aware that it is not “live”, and I wasn’t close enough to check in person today.
Here’s the data on the wayspot:

Issue: This Wayspot is representing a baseball stadium (belonging to the University of California San Diego), however the “old” (current) coordinates are in the field of play (specifically the front of the first base side dugout).
The suggested new coordinates are in the center of the spectator seats behind home plate, and within the same s17 cell. (These coordinates are also very close to the top of the yellow staircase shown in some of the supplemental photos.)
Just to update - I went by about 40 minutes ago and the wayspot is still at the old coordinates.
I have no way to get back to the original help chat to see if there was any reply / request for further info / etc… when I try it just goes to an opening of a new chat.
My guess is that they will have deemed no adjustment necessary here from satellite view. If you feel that this move should be made, you can use the form linked here under Wayspot Removals for modifications as well. It will start an email chain.
If you use this report, the options you can choose rarely match what I am trying to do. Just pick something, and then explain the issue in the text box. Do not reply to the automated acknowledgement email, even if it is asking for your credentials. A reply will come from an individual staff member.
If that was the determination, it’s incorrect - the white rectangle partly obscured by the wayspot is the dugout roof, and the dugout is part of the field of play.
The three striped areas to the left / west are the (only) spectator seating (the stripes are the seats).
Hmm… I was wrong. It has been moved, but not to where you suggested. I show your suggestion with that pin. I still recommend using that form to request moves so that you can start an email chain if you tend to lose help chat history.
I just saw that. The location they moved it to is the bottom of the yellow staircase shown in the extra pictures.
It does move the gym into the neighboring grid, which might cause another gym to appear (both grids previously had about 15 stops and 2 gyms). I have two pending nominations in the (old) eastern grid as well so we’ll see….
