The issue of an outdated map in the game is one that wayfarer can’t assist with.
The game developers update the map from time to time. The best advice is to check that your area has been updated ( I think they use Open Street Map). If that is done you just have to hope that when they do decide to update the changes will have been made within the cut off time.
If you are having a problem with submitting wayspots because streetview etc is out of date, and if there are no long standing features to refer to in location photos, then apps like GPSmapcamera can prove useful as they print the coordinates on the photo. Web submission allows 5 images so there is also the potential to include an estate map that might show a play area for example
