This is a historical Pillar / Lucy box that existed prior to WW2. The graffiti on the Pillar / Lucy Box wasn’t done by me and it’s not something I am in a position to remove without unknowingly daminging the property. The links below show what these boxes are and their significance to our history. Would it be possible to reconsider the rejection please?
My two cents worth, this is a great submission and some of these are already in game. There was a discussion here: Are these eligible?
These are no longer in use but do date back 100 years or more, often they have some protected status because of their history. The reason I think things like this make good wayspots is precisely because you might pass them by without giving them a second thought, but when you know the history it helps you to understand how the urban environment developed and will keep players looking for more.
Hi @P1dg3ySlayer
I’ve moved your topic to Nomination Support
For everyone who’s reading here and new to the forum the reason is:
The category Wayspot Appeals is for appealing rejected removal requests or to ask for reinstating removed wayspots.
Sometimes staff overturns their decisions when presented here on the forum but there’s no official process.
