we did it
Hmmmm it hasnāt
we took the max to the max
and then we went beyond

Haha yeah, both I guess!
All my reported ones are still in rotation.
I saw another new one today. Great quality because it was on a building, not in the road and the building wasnt someoneās house. Sadly it was for a business that left the location years ago, maybe more than 10 now it permanently houses a skip for the building next door. Literally rubbish
I wish we could edit them too, and proper case all the titles, and add pictures
Good news!
Nobody is that interested in Dmax/Gmax so those Powerspots on Sfprp and in the middle of the road are not going to be a problem. Thatās assuming you have enough people to complete one and you donāt get a false flag. Nice job on effing up the map for no reason.
Niantic in shamblesā¦ Again
I made a meetup on campfire
Went out to 160 local players
1 responded saying no. That was it
Then in the middle of the night last night someone messaged saying they were looking for a meetup
Then we find out that really these battles arent for less than 20 players- with stories of 30 and 40 player groups failing
So not only do these private houses and middle of road locations look even more problematic when the REQUIREMENT is 20+ players, but almost every community that isnt a central area of a large city will fail.
Nice one
Might be better to wait a while anyway
I mean, there was never any point in my trying
My town is pretty big - over 300,000 residents, but no interest in large enough groups.
Went to the pub instead.
I do admire the PoGo team just pushing ahead regardless of the feedback coming in from all overā¦ but seriously, Wayfarer rules around no PRP, sensitive areas, pedestrian safety etc etc are mean to enable this large-scale participation events safely.

@NianticLC @NianticAaron explanation please?
So in Bond Park where we play, all the Powerspots I saw are Wayspots - and we were still a nuisance. A pack of 200+ people moving together through the park is disruptive, and I am honestly afraid that the town will ask Niantic to remove all game locations after this weekend.
Wow thatās a big group. And I can see that in any park that would be disruptive.
Ultimately Niantic are a business and I honestly canāt think of any other business that would allow this sort of cross contamination and neglect what the other departments are doing. Iām not even sure if they confer with each other at this point.
EX Raids used to generate similar crowds. But those are wayspot-based gyms.
I currently have three nearby.
One is on a photography studio at someoneās house the actual photographer has relocated about 80 miles away two years ago.
Two are on holiday lets/ family homes.
Now I just have to find 30 people playingš„²
I did actually end up invited to join a group on Sunday- the unseasonably warm and sunny weather likely helped and hadnt seen some of these people for 5 years
We had an uncomfortable 25 minutes at one of these house max spots that had poor signal for some and had to restart the battle 5 times in order for a run where all 23 players could join and remain joined for the whole battle
It was a really bad experience. Luckily the other house spot we used was opposite a park and allotment so we could stand in the park and still reach it. But the park itself had no max spots.
I cannot even imagine the pure hell of 200 players. 25 was exhausting and hard work. I donāt enjoy crowds and prefer playing with a max of maybe 5 people, preferably 1 or 2. A group of 25 is a complete anti social monster let alone 200. Players seem clueless about why blocking entrances and standing around on paths is bad form.
And then with max spots, we do that on residential streets with tiny pavements, and block the whole thing while looking quite creepy with our phones pointed at peopleās houses
Hateful system. I wish the wayfarer team could reign it in a bit - at least restrict the home business and middle of road spots to t3 and under so they are able to be done with no group clogging up the area
Butā¦all these are game mechanics in Pokemon Go, not Wayfarer actions. Yes, Wayfarers have the ability to report and request removal of Power Spots on SFPRP, but thatās about the extent of Wayfarer involvement here. I agree that Pokemon Go could have done things better, and I donāt see how having a mechanism that requires a horde of trainers is in any way helpful to the rural players I try to focus on, but stillā¦I donāt think this is our problem to solve, although I will certainly try to make an effort to clean up a few ineligible non-Lightship Power Spots as much as time allows.
Please stop putting them into little departments and saying this is not our problem.
That is exactly how Niantic deal with it. Niantic are the staff here, they are the Go team, the Ingress team, Scaniverse.
Itās absolutely not our problem to solve itās 100% on Niantic although they seem to have done a grand job of convincing many people to do their cleaning up.
