I’m sorry if anybody feels personally attacked, but it is essential to check ourselves and verify what has happened.
We should be able to opine that explorers are being exploited or question whether/why Ambassadors run interference for Niantic - as rhetorical concepts - without being accused of incivility or personal affront.
None of us should call names, blame, or shame each other, but criticism of the system and the ways the status quo is maintained ought to be acceptable.
Topics will wander a bit from time to time and it’s not surprising on a topic such as this that is very long. If distinct sub topics develop Moderators can decide to split.
Meanwhile please ensure that we remain respectful to each other.
Listen, we all know Niantic is a very siloed company. But it doesn’t do anyone any good to attack the one team at Niantic that actually responds and connects with it’s community. The Ambos a lot of times speak on their own and independent of Niantic and I admire that.
The PoGo team needs to step up and answer this question, We should not be holding the Wayfarer team responsible for any of this. I appreciate the Wayfarer team for doing all they do.
We can’t expect them to cross teams, when in the 8 years of dealing with Niantic, nothing like that has ever happened. You can be frustrated with the system without being attacking the Wayfarer Team. I understand the awkward position this puts the Ambos in and I don’t envy them.
I still haven’t seen anyone be attacked. I don’t think it does anyone any good for Ambassadors to defend the Wayfarer system when it’s riddled with hypocrisy and lies created by Niantic.
This seems to have become quite heated. Honestly, I think this is down to poor decisions made by a different team at Niantic, but I do hope that the Wayfarer team is passing on constructive criticism.
Sure but there’s no way of knowing when the staff can’t answer and Ambassadors are telling me I shouldn’t be asking questions and making it personal by saying you are attacking individuals.
I didn’t vote for Ambassadors they are not my Ambassadors. It’s not their place to tell me what I can and can’t ask.

I wonder though, since they dont respond to reports, should I be taking pictures of people’s houses and the middle of roads - these would be accurate photos of the item
I dont think you’re gonna be able to “take off the capslock”. Even waypoints that arent imports and are waypoints show with all upper case titles even though the waypoint isnt like that in the database.
I hope power spots will appear mainly in parks, which are safe areas.
I don’t understand if it was made to do Max Battle or if it was created in a dangerous place to cause an accident.
