Recently I noticed my nomination cap has been reduced to 10, while friends of mine can still make 40 nominations. Is there a reason behind why mine might be reduced?

There was recently a change to Wayfinder Rating, which affects how many nominations you can make: New Wayfinder Rating System!
Wayfinder Rating Perks
As you progress in your Wayfinder Rating, you’ll also unlock some exciting new capabilities. To kick us off, we’ll be adjusting the accrual rate and caps for Wayspot submissions and edits.
When you advance in Wayfinder Rating level, you will be granted the daily submission accrual rate of your level at the start of the day, plus the difference between your new level’s accrual rate and your previous level’s accrual rate. The accruals will be distributed at midnight UTC.
