We have a limited amount of appeals so using one, even successfully, for something which really shouldn’t need it is annoying as it prevents something else from being appealed. If you lose 10% of your submissions to the ML tax and 5% to bad reviewers, you already are seeing more nominations rejected then you can possibly appeal assuming every appeal goes through.
Fully agree, just happy that the appeal process actually works. But to be fair, I don’t nominate that much, so usually it’s not a big deal if I run out of appeals.
