Your situation is different than the OP’s. We have already explained to you why the Wayspot you are questioning being removed doesn’t meet criteria.
But it does qualify. I had more than one submission. 2 others denied. I got actual location correct and it was approved. I don’t know where information is pulled from. Or maybe I copy pasted wrong coordinates (cuz I just went back to the old submissions) when someone asked for the location.
Maybe I should have used address. I feel like there looking at the old submission or message. And there have been updates.
I’m not trying to be a problem. Just want opportunity to explain. I thought this is what the forum is for, I just need help fixing it. I have seen others post, about appealing it. And they get fixed. Mine was accepted and was there for 6+months. No indication that it was removed. So I was hoping was some error or something. I was expecting to get attacked, and accused of not following guidelines.
I shall tag these on to the previous topic.
If you want to appeal for restoring a wayspot you may do so in Wayspot Appeals
You will need to provide proof it exists and of location and that it is not on any land considered to be single family private residential property.
Please keep, it factual as the team will only consider those 2 elements and not why it exists.
Well i suggest you make more evidence. Video for example. Since street view is long time ago and doesnt work in your favour. From street view, it looks like the coordinate you show is inside PP. But looking nto satelite, it does look like next to pedestrianand there is a new road there. But again, reviewer cant tell where is it. So its reviewer 's job to provide more evidence. I know you might be upset, but with so many people want home pokestop, we cant just take your word as it is. It nd to be proven.
How do I find out reason it was removed? For the appeal?
They do not notify players or nominators when something is removed so there is no way to officially know why it was removed. But in this case I think you should follow @elijustrying advice.
- show that it still exists at that specific location
- Include your documentation on the property line to show that the location is not on Single Family Private Residential Property (SFPRP)
It was likely reported for SFPRP, so that is important information to include.
All the evidence i can see indicates that this was properly removed for being in front of single family residential property.
You can only guess why it is removed. What you nd now is to prove if its really not in PRP. A better photo and /or video is one way to prove since street view is 12 years old and i see a new street there. Without it, niantic will keep the original decision to retire the wayspot. Its submitter job to provide sufficient evidence. So far the only proof i can see is from 12 years old streetview. Without recent photo its almost impossible to overturn the decision
@CaidensGrandma you still havent provide any recent photo and/video regarding the surrounding area . Without it,its will hard to overturn the decision.
TjoeMi, I’ve added a couple, plus additional information and it was removed. So I’m not sure what to do. Happy to send it to someone approving/reviewing it or answer questions.
Thank you for your assistance.
Friendly reminder forwarded to this topic, too:
Mods may want to close this topic again, now that the appeal has been made.
You have installed your own free little library and made it a Wayspot, but if you installed it on your residential property, it falls under the rejection criteria for private property of a family. If you installed it on public land, then it should be removed in the real world and falls under the rejection criteria as temporary.
I still dont see surrounding photo and/or video proving that you dont put LFL in your own residential property. Like i said, more photo/video is needed. What i see now only LFL photo with nothing showing the surrounding. Without it, reviewer only have 12 years old street view as comparison.
@TjoeMi I have submitted additional photos and info. It is my understanding it was removed or only visible to team reviewing appeals.
And no additional photos are needed.
Having discussed with OP, I am closing this topic as there is no need for further comment.
