I need help getting my Little Free Library approved. It it’s placed in front of our property, along the street where there is parking available. County was contacted and marked so could place for community access. Parking is available.
It is completely community accessible. Many people enjoy walking by.
It is also a memorial dedicated to my Grandson we lost in March 10yrs old. He loved Pokemon and playing with Grandma. I would love nothing more to make a pokestop in his honor and know that everyone can still play with him.
I have tried submitted it but get immediate “wayfarer” rejection with no reasons. Please help this Pokeomon Grandma get Caidens Pikachu Library approved.
Thank you Caidens Grandma

Welcome to the forum, and so sorry for your loss.

“Wayfarer criteria” is the rejection reason when the ML (machine learning ai) model decided the nomination. The rejection will have come 20-24 hours after you made the nomination, and the email will say “our team” decided rather than the community.

I looked at the coordinates you gave, and this appears to be on SFPRP (single family private residential property) even if this is on the outer side of the fence. By the road, I see no safe place as required by Niantic for people to stand to access this. Please see this clarification about Little Free Libraries:

At its current location, I don’t think there is any point to trying to address the text you have been using, since it looks to me like the location is not eligible. I would recommend that you contact an authority to see about getting permission to set this up in a public space if you want to try to have it become a game location. If you are moving it somewhere specifically to have it show up in Pokemon Go, you will need to understand S2 cell rules:

https://pokemongohub.net/post/article/comprehensive-guide-s2-cells-pokemon-go/

After reading everything I had to say, if you still want to pursue this nomination, you can appeal the rejection to Niantic, and it will be evaluated by humans. You can provide them proof that this should not be subject to the SFPRP and pedestrian access issues. We can discuss the text of your nomination if you want to pursue that path, and make sure it does not say anything disqualifying. You get 2 appeals, each on a 20 day timer, so if you do not currently have one, it will come back when the time is up.

You may want to remove those coordinates you gave us for your personal privacy. Thank you for providing them to verify the location. Genuinely sorry that I did not have better news for you.

Thank you for the resources and response. Maybe I should take better photos of area in front of Library as there is available parking. It is along the street. I have tried to upload some edits to google because it isn’t accurate for our property location. There isn’t any fence preventing access to this location or library.

The issue is not being accesible to the public. The issue is that it is placed within your property, even if accesible from the edge.

But is not, it’s in front of our property on boundary lines. There is street parking in front of house also

Out of curiosity, who maintains that property? Is you or does the city mow it and maintain it?

It’s county

So the county mows it?

There was just another post where Niantic appeals team accepted something that appears to be SFPRP (single family private residential property) to me if you want to go that route I mentioned earlier. If you want to show the entire nomination you made before appealing, we can advise you if the text is eligible before you do.

Agree, the appeals team accepts almost anything.
In fact, the only two nominations that I made early on that were clearly ineligible and justly denied by the community were then, accepted by the appeals process.

We trim area from our line to the road because. They do like once a year, can get very over grown. The walking trail it’s adjacent to is overgrown you can’t see the sidewalk.
This is an old community development, with sidewalks. County doesn’t come out unless, into the street. :face_with_diagonal_mouth:

Ok the last appeals got denied and mentioned the Title so I submitted again and removed his name

And took another photo showing parking. Its adjacent to the sidewalk but it’s over grown and not visibly

Thank you for all your help

Irrelevant references to Pokemon Go are not allowed in the Title or Description. It should be okay in this case because the Little Free Library does have a Pokemon theme, but I don’t know if the appeals team thought you had made an irrelevant reference. I think I would take “Pikachu” out of the title for this one while you can still edit it. Unless they said that “Caiden’s” was the problem, I would replace “Pikachu” with “Caiden’s”. I don’t see your description, but I would take any reference to Pokemon out of it. (Is fine to say it in the supporting.)

I don’t want to get your hopes up, because this still looks like SFPRP to me, but if the appeals team did not reject for that reason, then maybe you convinced them on that. Even if this gets to community voting this time, I would expect it to get rejected, but you already know how to appeal.
