Pokestop name change rejected

Greetings, I don’t understand how a name change for a Pokéstop can be rejected when the current name is clearly incorrect, as shown in the image itself.

Even the current name belongs to a ministry that has since changed its name and no longer exists as such. Additionally, the use of the building has changed and it now belongs to the agency indicated in the current proposal.

It is quite frustrating to see that absolutely all proposals are systematically rejected, mostly with reasons that are not true. And yes, then you can appeal… but the appeals are also not taken into account.

It appears that what you’re trying to do is repurpose a wayspot, which is against the rules, and that’s likely why your edit was rejected.

The old ministry no longer exists, and the wayspot represents that ministry, so the correct procedure is to request removal of the wayspot (because what it represents doesn’t exist any more), and then if whatever replaced it is a good candidate for a wayspot, submit it as a new wayspot so that it can be reviewed against the criteria.
