I am writing to formally express my concern and to respectfully request the inclusion of my submitted nominations into Pokémon GO.
I have diligently followed all Niantic Wayfarer guidelines, criteria, and procedures in submitting my nominations. Each submission was carefully prepared, with accurate descriptions, clear supporting photos, and proper justification to ensure compliance with your standards. Given this effort, I was extremely disappointed to find that none of my nominations have appeared in the Pokémon GO application.
With this, I would like to formally request a review and proper consideration of my nominations for inclusion in the game. I believe that my submissions meet the required criteria and would contribute positively to the player community by providing additional points of interest.
I kindly ask for:
A review of my submitted nominations
Clarification on their current status
Assistance in ensuring that qualified nominations are appropriately reflected in Pokémon GO
As an active contributor, I am committed to supporting and improving the game’s map database. I sincerely hope that my nominations will be given fair evaluation and, if deemed eligible, be added to the game accordingly.
Thank you for your time and attention to this matter. I look forward to your response
A bug has been impeding sync to Pokémon GO as of late:
Also as mentioned in the acceptance email, not all accepted wayspots get into the game of choice
For rejected nominations, you can screenshot the full details here so the community can give their thoughts about its eligibility or how to better attempt the nomination.
So the use of gridlines are irrelevant i used it as reference whenever i am nominating a wayspot that is so disappointing on our part as a player and getting our way and tine just to nominate wayspots for us to have an easy access to pokestops
Sorry to hear your frustration, quick advice is to wait for the glitches with syncing to clear up and hope that your nominations appear in game - start exploring for other POIs in case they don’t.
Based on your post, I can only assume that your nominations were approved but are showing as “not in game” on the wayfarer map - is that right?
As far as using S2/S17 cells for reference
Though not part of Wayfarer criteria, nor necessary to submit, they are identified as relevant and worth consideration should you want a chance at your wayspot appearing as a pokestop or a gym. There is always a chance that it doesn’t make it into your game of choice, that message appears in the approval email, “Remember that not all accepted nominations will appear in all Niantic games.”
I myself play PoGo, and find that more often than not when nomination land in empty s17 cells, they do make it into the game.
PS: I too am waiting, along with many others for syncing to clear up
The gridlines are not part of Wayfarer criteria, those are identified by the community as part of Pokémon GO’s automated review processes as refenced in my previous attached reply.
It is irrelevant from the perspective of simply submitting for wayspots but relevant for submitting pokestops & other PGO game objects. That said, Wayfarer guidelines still require the pin to be placed on top of the object irrespective of whether it will satisfy PGO’s automated review.
Separate issue from the current bug causing the PGO sync, btw.
If you post the Titles and Location (long / lat) of your nominations we can take a look and advise whether you should expect them to appear on the map once the sync issue is fixed.
