Please be aware that the sync between the Wayfarer Map and Pokémon GO has been down for a few days. The team is aware and investigating the issue. This issue is not impacting any Wayspot creation, updates, or removals on the Wayfarer side but please know that the changes will not be reflected until the sync starts back up again. I will keep you posted as updates become available.

Hopping on to share that the Pokémon GO map synced today. Please note that this was an unscheduled update, outside of the normal syncs, to ensure all approved submissions and removals this week and last had the opportunity to sync before the weekend. Regular daily syncs will resume next week as we finalize the application of all necessary fixes.

Are you checking in person with the game or on the wayfarer map?
The manual sync with the Pogo game won’t reflect on the wayfarer map until that map syncs in quite a few hours from now.
You did get some specific advice about some wayspots that won’t show in this post

Wayspot Nominations have synced, as mentioned by many. But quite a number of my location edits have yet to actually go through in-game although they’ve already been accepted a while back and the Wayfarer Map has already shown them at their new edited location. Is there any explanation for this? It’s been about 2-3 days now that the map has synced so I would assume the location edits would also sync in-game, but they have yet to.
As far as I know, last sync was “forced” manually and could miss some stuff (They mentioned just that in this post).
There has been more syncs since then? Because this week should have been working as intended as they had to apply some fixes.
There was another sync within the last four hours. A stop that is visible from my house was approved Sunday and appeared on the map sometime between 1000 and 1337 today (California time) (end time is another approval that did not go live)
I see. I tried to like the photos on those stops and their location edits went through and updated when the map synced this morning. I guess they needed somewhat of a manual update? So if anyone’s looking to have their location edits go update in-game, try liking the pokestop/gym’s photos maybe.
