My Pokestop was approved! I still don’t see it yet. I got the confirmation email last night. Should I wait the 48 hours before I make a bigger fuss about it? Lol

Yes! Pokemon Go syncs once a day, and we are about 2-3 hours from that sync time. Let us know if you see it!

And before you make a fuss, remember that it was a wayspot that was accepted. Pokemom Go has inclusion rules using S2 cells that determine whether it will appear in game.

Habe vor längeren Zeit ein pockestop versetzt der auch bestätigt wurde, aber seit dem verschwunden ist.
Was kann ich machen das mal danach geschaut wird?
Hatte auch ein pockestop erstellt der genehmigt wurde, der aber nur ab und zu mal als Kraftquelle auftaucht.
Wird da noch ein pockestop draus oder bleibt das so.

I know the prompt tells you that you are submitting a “Pokestop” but you are actually submitting a Wayspot to the database. The Wayspot can only become a Pokestop or gym if it is alone in a level 17 S2 cell. (Eligible Wayspots are added to Pokemon Go in a sync that happens once a day normally. If it has not been more than 48 hours since it was accepted, it could just be that it has not synced in yet.)
Wayspots that are not eligible to be Pokestops or gyms still have the potential to be used as Power Spots. It appears that there is a 22m distance requirement from any Pokestop or gym for it to be used this way, and it seems there is a limit of two active Power Spots per L14 S2 cell, the same size used to determine gyms. We explorers haven’t figured out the schedule for syncing in new Power Spots, but it is not on a daily basis at this time.
If you would like to leave the title and location, someone here with access to external resources can confirm if there is indeed an issue with the S2 cells. But do be aware this is a public forum if you would rather not reveal your location. I realize this is a lot of information to dump on someone, so please ask if you have more questions.

This map of Ingress portals with an overlay to show cells gives you a visual to show that it is in the same L17 S2 cell as two others, and only one can show in Pokemon Go. The other two are “Blue Head” and “Ortsschild Wadern” so one of those may be live in Pokemon Go.

Das heißt in einer Zelle darf sich immer nur ein Wayspot befinden?
There can only be one Pokestop or gym in an L17 cell. You may find exceptions to this, either from past abuse which does not work now, or sponsored locations. There can be many, many Wayspots in an L17 cell.

No. There is no way to retract an edit.
If the cross is now correctly located, it would be considered abuse to try to move it away from its position.
