I have encountered two submissions where the apartment complex’s pool is selected as a Poke Stop. Would this be considered private property as it’s not accessible to the public or should it still be considered “accessible”?
We actually have clarification on this, and no, pools at apartments/subdivisions and the like are not private, and are eligible. They are a part of the community, albeit a smaller one, and are great places to get some exercise, and be social with others.
You do want to make sure the location pin is not in the middle of the pool, but off to the side where people can access it without being in the water.

Thank you so much this helps clarify as I was worried I was selecting the wrong criteria.
You’re welcome! Glad to help!
Always better to ask if unsure
