I got this nomination. Bit of research led me to believe that the LFL may exist but does not exist here. I then noticed the mural that is meant to exist 30m. It does not exist here either.
The location and photos and maps does not add up. Does anyone else get these types of nominations
There is a huge problem with people submitting fakes. The more they get away with, the more they try.
When I did a Google Lens search on your screenshot, I came up with a Brighton community newsletter featuring an LFL that looked just like this down to the lighting, but with a plaque. Does the supporting photo help prove this really is here at all? Are there more clues in the original full version that this was photoshopped in here?
I would probably report both those tag Wayspots for removal. They are not eligible even if they are actually there. I would tell help chat about this photoshopped nomination. Or use the Reporting Abuse form.

Yeah, same with the Google Lens search, but I got a different result.
I found it posted on a Reddit thread with a plaque on top and a different background (bushes instead of a fence), but the lighting is pretty much the same. It appears that this thread is making fun of a certain world leader’s adult son and may have been AI generated, so I’m thinking this one was also AI generated.
AI can removed things like plaques, if asked, and change the background, if asked.
Supporting photos did not support…And look at the road to grass area. Scale is all wrong. Brighton. Well there is a brighton le sands but that is 80K from Dapto… So there you go. Nice work on what you found!!

Well, Street View certainly doesn’t match the background of the photo. Where’s the fence and hedge? Where’s the garage?
Oh, and the lighting of the LFL is different than the background, and the distance between the LFL and house looks off.

Absolutely Nanfah .. Sure could be. But as we don’t know if that is the truth - it is still good to check amongst ourselves. And I learn from what others see and their opinions..
But yeah you could be bang on!
I think if it was a honeypot, there would be more people coming and reporting these.
@nanfah131213 It’s quite easy to ask AI to create a photo for almost anything these days, and with Wayfarer, LFLs seem to be quite common. There are so many photos online of different LFLs, so if you are wanting to try and create a fake Wayspot for a fake LFL, AL would have no issue creating a fake photo.
@DTrain2002 I think so. AI just generate what ever the user prompt it. However, if we carefully look in details, we still see the some weird points in that picture.
I only have question in mind, if human want to do the fake picture, They need try to do the best and think no one know that is fake, aren’t they?

Why someone need to get trouble on their account (ban 30 days or 10 years is not funny at all)?

There are people who are really good at giving AI prompts, and some may want more places to play and have broken the ToS in some way already. These people haveno fear, so they may try to continue disobeying the guidelines and ToS just to suit their needs.
