Removal appeal for K12

When submitting a Wayspot Appeal, make sure to include as much of the following information as possible:

  • Wayspot Title: Albero-Schule

  • Location (lat/lon): 49.302875,6.813992

  • City: Schwalbach

  • Country: Germany

  • Screenshot of the Rejection Email (do not include your personal information):

  • Additional Information (if any): This wayspot is located on the premises of a daycare facility for children and should therefore meet removal criteria. Niantic rejected my initial report however. Please take a look into this!

I wonder if the problem was the lack of evidence from google and streetview that this is a school. The bus-stop is named after the school, but there is no obvious signage showing what this building is.

However, using the bus-stop name (“Albero School”), I found this website for the building, which is Albero Children’s Villa, so definitely ineligible under the K12 rule.

In my initial report to Niantic, I even gave them the website as a proof. They didn’t act on it sadly.

Is there anything else you can point out on the street view to indicate this is a day care for those of us not from the area to make it clear for staff?

Oh, I found something else.

The address on that website points to a different building - see the marker below. The building at the top left (where it says “recently viewed”) is the wayspot. It’s not the same building, so you may need extra evidence to show that that building is part of the school (same architecture, but that isn’t sufficient).

No, Kreutzer Walter is not on the property in question. That business is not where the wayspot is located.

I am merely referencing Kreutzer Walter in order to explain which buildings I am talking about, as I am not great at marking up photos so was using what was there,

The building in the centre (with the google pin) is the actual address of the school. This is not where the wayspot is.

.

Pink dot = the building for the wayspot

Google pin = the actual address of the school

According to OpenStreetMap, the school property stretches into the house of the Wayspot

I don’t think that OSM is reliable enough for a wayspot to be removed. Especially when it is a gym. OSM is indicative but not definitive.

I checked the official property map which seems to be accurate to the OSM one
