Remove POI

Good morning, I hope you can support me since the team that you have reviewed so far has not helped me at all even though I have provided sufficient evidence and how it has been requested regarding the location in video and photographs. The Wayspot location found in PokemonGo no longer exists. On Google Maps the last mapping update was in 2024 and that altar (wayspot object) no longer exists. In its place there is now a street food place next to the avenue. I have delivered videos in parts since it does not allow me to upload them in a single Gmail file because it weighs more than 25mb, but maybe here it will be sent normally. I have many doubts since the Niantic team asks me 1 after another again to send something that I already sent as evidence in the same place and yet they continue to ask me for the same thing even though I have already given them videos. Evidence is being provided to remove the Wayspot since in addition to the object no longer existing, it is located between a parking lot and an avenue and although you can ‘‘sit down to eat at a street food stand,’’ playing has become an experience a little uncomfortable in that area. The altar was facing away from the avenue, on the side of the parking lot. As seen in the photos in the area, it is no longer found in real life, outside of the game.

Hi @Yoss2510
Did I understand you correctly that the attached emails are chronological? So you’ve sent photos/videos like requested and the last response was from Zachary that they’ll need a 360° video?

Good evening Alice, yes, at first I had to send them in separate parts since my cell phone wouldn’t let me send more than 25mb, I even sent a screenshot with the message in Gmail itself. Later, through my computer (PC), I was able to send the complete videos without any interruptions, plus photographs. Only I don’t know why, not only her, but more members told me the same thing: “Send a 360-degree video of the location,” when everything I sent was from that point, same coordinates, same locations. I was in front of the place where the altar used to be, and I showed them that the altar is no longer there and that now there’s a street food stand.

I sent two videos. The first one was important because it showed the location and the surrounding area from a 360-degree perspective. The second video was from when I was approaching the spot and even before I was almost next to the wayspot, which no longer exists but still exists in Pokemon Go. I stopped to take a 360-degree perspective. The last video I took was from a side perspective to show how unsafe and uncomfortable that place is to play in, since it’s a parking lot and next to a road. You can even see cars coming out in the videos.

Thanks :hugs:
Ok, since you’ve done what they’ve asked for and they still can’t confirm the non existance, I’d suggest to make a geotaged photo of the location. If that’s denied too please bump this thread and we’ll put it in the Wayspot Appeals sections for staff, ok?

I’ve suggested the geotaged photo because it seems that the video evidence didn’t gave the convincing proof the team needed. Did one of your videos contain that you’ve pokemon go open to spot the right location ingame?

Para que vean que realmente fue ahí y no está editado ya que no permite editar la ubicación.

No, because they only asked me for the 360 video after I was told no with photos. That’s why I took the SS from the gym’s wayspot when I was there.

The team will need to be absolutly sure about the right spot of your video evidence and tgey seemed not to be right now.
Is that the exact location of the wayspot:

?
So could they compare the coordinates in your photo above and the coordinates of the wayspot?
That’s why I’m asking for geotag or open pogo. To confirm “yes I’m absolutly on the spot”.

Yes, that’s what I’m seeing. I don’t know if it’s because I’m at home, and as I mentioned, I would take a screenshot of the video’s location. (I don’t know if the coordinates of where the video is being watched were included, since the image I’ll attach shows the address of the location.) Maybe it would help to record a screenshot when I’m playing Pokémon Go and open AR while I’m there?

Below in the map image it says the address, it is the same

I’ve moved your topic over to Wayspot Appeals.
Can you please fill the following template:

When submitting a Wayspot Appeal, make sure to include as much of the following information as possible:

Hey @Yoss2510 ,

I have looked at the evidence provided by you. The evidence is not conclusive for us to proceed with removal. We need clear evidence suggesting that the altar doesn’t exist anymore. Unless we receive that evidence, we are unable to remove the Wayspot.

Thanks,
