Removed Wayspot Appeal

When submitting a Wayspot Appeal, make sure to include as much of the following information as possible:

  • Wayspot Title: Tullohill Woods Viewpoint Bench
  • Location (lat/lon): 57.114873,-2.117112
  • City: Aberdeen
  • Country: UK
  • Screenshot of the Rejection Email (do not include your personal information):

  • Additional Information (if any): This was a pokestop for a week or 2 and now its suddenly disappeared. not sure why as it was accepted though appeal and isnt on private property. It is a great spot which me and my kids stop on a dog walk to enjoy the greenery and the view. Im not sure why its just disappeared?
Thanks for looking into this and we really hope we can have the pokestop back to load up on pokeballs on our walks!

Hello and welcome
We recommend that you provide an up to date photo with the geodata to prove location and that it is still there.

Can you get cadastral map of the area. It seems the bench may not be in public area

Looking at the map there does seem to be some “dodgy” waypoints…

  • “Dee View Court – Local Landmark of Care” - “provides high-quality care and neurorehabilitation*” - This is not a POI at the location, its the location itself.
  • Dee View Court Sign & Gardens - Is the other end of the same location.
  • “Kinkorth Balance Trail” - Does not seem to match the location.
  • “Park and Garden Birds Identification Board” - Not confident this actually exists as it is away from the path plus if it is there it looks to be on the boundary fence of a SFPRP.

I would say this is a public area.

The co ordinates provided were out but I presume that is the bench. And that is public land.
I also agree with @SlimboyFat71

I suspect there is overlapping stops. Thanks for the help
