Removed Wayspot, no information available

When submitting a Wayspot Appeal, make sure to include as much of the following information as possible:

  • Wayspot Title: Tsukuba rocket manhole cover
  • Location (lat/lon): (36.0405125, 140.0560790)
  • City: Tsukuba
  • Country: Japan
  • Screenshot of the Rejection Email (do not include your personal information):
  • Additional Information (if any): POI on a well traveled walking/cycing route recently disappeared.

Still shows approved on the contributions page. Any information as to why it was removed?

Removed wayspot got nothing to do with your contribution page. It will remain approved. We need to look into the case before we know what happen.

Edit. I saw the manhole. I have no idea why its reported

I appreciate the reply. Did not know it isn’t reflected in the contribution page.

No access? The submission photo shows it on a large walking/biking path. Any suggestions for a better photo?

You can appeal for removed poi if you believe its eligible

The Wayspot Appeals section is where you appeal removals that you believe were incorrect.

You are in the correct place for an appeal.
You might want to add some evidence here as to why this meets criteria and a current photo showing it still exists at that location helps too.

Thanks for the appeal, @xenofirex! We gave this a second look and decided to restore the Wayspot in question.
