Now that we’re into summer I am seeing reviews for submissions on the property of Scout Camps. As I understand it, these should be rejected as falling into the K-12 category and rejection reason. I am also seeing numerous approved wayspots on Scout Camp property and report them as I am able. My most recent removal request was rejected.
Wayspot: Aqua Base
Location: near 36.8269058,-88.1687285
This POI and several others near it that showed on the duplicate check when reviewing another nomination (but don’t appear on IITC, implying they’re new wayspots) are on the property of Pfeffer Scout Reservation. (Lincoln Heritage Council | Pfeffer Scout Reservation - Boy Scouts of America)
Note the Aqua Base is explicitly described: “… Pfeffer Scout Reservation is also home to Aquabase, mid-America’s premier sailing program on beautiful Kentucky Lake…”
As these are on a Scout Camp, they are ineligible wayspots (K-12) and should be removed. Please reconsider.

Hi @jojenreed64
When I see things like this during review from duplicate checks, I take screenshots of the map, close up of the duplicate, duplicate with address showing, etc. and use the help chat to have them removed.
I know this may not help you for this one, but I have a good track record with this method.
Thanks. That can’t help with this one, but I will remember that for the future. I just reported another Scout Camp a little while ago.
I used to go right to Intel for stuff like this, but that is not really an option anymore. (and why we need a Wayfarer map)

I got a nomination to review for a scout hut, and found live Wayspots throughout the camp. I reported the in voting nomination through the “Reporting Abuse” form. I gave them the information about the current review, and the details of one of the Scout portals. (I do mean “portal” because I got the information from iitc.) I expected them to reply with having removed many wayspots sometime next week, but instead I got this:
So maybe they don’t care about Scout Camps anymore? They used to remove any Wayspots at them. This one is

Perhaps that mildly cryptic response was because you reported something that’s currently in review and it’s preferable to let the review process run its course?
Then there’s this nomination and the POIs around it. Since my last help chat ticket has apparently had no response, and there’s been no response yet here to this post, I didn’t bother reporting this submission and the other camp POIs around it. I just rejected the one I had in review and moved on.
