A new approved pokestop appeared, a little free library. Upon investigation it is clearly located on the front lawn of a townhouse, which by definition is a private residence. Furthermore, this townhouse complex would require players to wander through it to access it. My appeal to have it removed as a stop was rejected. I read article after article talking about how such locations were ineligible.
Hello and Welcome,
Within Wayfarer “Private Residence” is classed as “Single Family Private Residential Properties (SFPRP)”.
If the town house is split in to more than 1 family residence than the waypoint is legitimate.
Not all waypoints have to be accessible to everyone just those that have the right to be there.
If you are 1 of the Residents of the town house and would prefer it not to have a wayspot you can, with evidence request it’s removal.
Hope this helps explain.
Good Luck.
