The Wayfarer team decided that the head office of a Michelin Guide listed restaurant was inappropriate general business to explore

Rejected by Niantic Review for general business. Is the head office of a Michelin Guide restaurant an inappropriate place to explore? Is it my fault for not mentioning that there are only two branches other than the main restaurant? Please let me know how I can apply to be approved.
Description:
Curry specialty restaurant established in 2016. The curry is made from Japanese soup stock made from sea bream and chicken, with a homemade blend of Sri Lankan spices. Toppings include beef cutlet, pork cutlet, and lamb cutlet. The fine bread crumbs batter is crispy, while the inside is cooked just right, rare and tender, and the juices spread in your mouth.
Supplemental Information:.
Applied as a great place to explore and socialize as a gourmet. It is a famous Osaka curry restaurant that has been listed consecutively in the Michelin Guide and the gourmet website Eat Log’s Curry West 100 Best Restaurants.

Not commenting on the decision, but did you include the links to these in your supporting information? If I were submitting it, I would want to make sure I had backed up this.

The link will be this. Is it my fault for not attaching these? I did look up the cooking methods, etc. and submitted them.

Personally I would have included them. You as the submitter have to make it as simple as possible for the reviewer to go “yes, this meets criteria”, which means all the onus on doing that is on you.

Don’t expect the reviewer to go off and find the links themselves.

I understand. I will re-apply and make sure that I don’t expect the Wayfarer reviewers at Niantic to send it to community review with an upgrade after more than 72 hours. retort that is commercially available in consideration of the fact that I will not be able to visit the store in 2023 at Expo '70 Commemorative Park in Suita, Japan. This curry was presented to @NianticTintino, but we will leave it to the Japanese community reviewer.

Can you clarify for me what this location is? The way you call it the “head office” makes me a little confused. If this is just an office space, then I would not approve it. But if it is a Michelin star restaurant that has a couple of other locations, that’s OK in my opinion.

It’s a Japanese curry restaurant, not an office for the restaurant.

It’s on one of the upper floors of this building, 3F I see in the address, so 3rd floor.

The PR Times article is more for a bento box company that delivers food, including for Watanabe Curry, the restaurant in question in the nomination. I think there’s some confusion with that link, as it doesn’t actually list the address of the curry restaurant, but does note it was in the 2023 Kyoto/Osaka Michelin Guide.

Here’s the link for Watanabe Curry, which is in Osaka. This nomination is for the Umeda location

I see! It’s possible that the machine translation should have translated “head restaurant” but was translated as “head office” and the Niantic reviewer misidentified it as an office. I will try to address the language difference next time, in case it becomes a Niantic review.
