Unable to move new waypoint far enough to its correct location

Hello, I am new here. My first ever submitted Pokestop was approved, but it was placed in the wrong spot somehow. I am quite confident that I placed it in the right place, but the approved version is now about 100m or more from where it is actually located.

When I try to “edit location”, I am unable to move it far enough to put it in the right place. It ‘snaps back’ after moving only a small radius as if there is a maximum distance it can be moved. Advice?

That’s intentional.

You can use the chat on Wayfarer by navigating to Help, and then tapping the chat bubble to request large moves.

Note that they won’t do this if the Wayspot is already correctly placed and it’s just being moved for the benefit of a game board.
