Hi I made a poke stop and it’s been put in the wrong location. I’ve tried dragging the icon on the made but doesn’t stay where it actually is (and jumps back to the current location). I’ve sent niantic the coordinates of the actual location, I’ve also tried reporting the stop as permanently removed so I can do it again. What’s the best way to get it corrected?
How did you send Niantic the coordinates of the actual location? The best way to get a Wayspot that is in the wrong real world location that you can’t do in game is to send an edit through the help menu on the Wayfarer site. But it sounds like you did that?
Did it ever get resolved? I’m having the same issue, went as far as to posting a 360 view of the location to Google maps so street view is an option for those confirming the claims. So far all my edit request and reports have been denied even appealing the community’s judgement they have also been denied. Feels like they don’t do any investigation into the matter. Feels like a lose cause.
The OP never responded back, so we don’t know what happened. It does seem that the Wayspot’s correct location was over 10 meters away, and in PoGo you can only do location edits that are 10 meters or less. Otherwise, help chat can assist with location edits over 10 meters.
As for your case, are you submitting the edits in-game and later appealing after rejection, or are you using help chat? Are you able to provide more info on the Wayspot you’re trying to have moved?
I create a topic covering the issue I’m facing, hope that’s the correct why.
you can check my profile check out the case here: Pokestop report rejection/incorrect location
Did you ever use help chat from the Wayfarer site to request this move?
Go to the Help menu Niantic Wayfarer and a text bubble will pop up where you can give them the information and evidence of the correction. Your other post looks like you filed an in game removal report.
Please don’t post in multiple threads. Please keep to one thread instead of posting on threads that haven’t had responses for several months.
I used the help chat. First ask was to submit current and correct google maps with lat and long. Support replied back that it wasnt enough. That i had to send geotagged photos of current and correct location. I did this on a friday and by monday they replied back that it was being corrected. I think the photos were needed because the current location was in an area with trees.
