So nobody can tell someone what they have been banned for? Shouldnt this information be easy for someone to get since it’s kind of a big deal. Like do file for banned people and what they did so employees can give people that information. Communication is key
Love the response
You’re in an ongoing process. The Team always check every request seriously. That’ll need time.
From your screenshots we can see that Aaron asked 17h ago and you responded 13h later. We’re acting all over the globe so timezones may be a thing too.
Hi
I appreciate how frustrating this all is from your perspective.
However you need to consider that for something like a sanction on an account there will be strict policies to adhere to, and this will feel like time wasting to you but the policies will be there to ensure a proper process is followed.
It is sensitive personal information, so I would expect limited access to the details, and that will mean it is not a 24 hour service.
So although very naturally you want to progress this you need to be patient and wait. People will respond when they can.
Ambassadors are moderators so our access is rightly limited.
The members of staff in the admin group as you would expect have different access.
Information about discourse and how it functions and administrative access is available online.
Perhaps you could link this and let the person I replied to know.
