I totes will never make the Ambassador role. I feel fortunate we have so many wise “young” ambassadors who are so much calmer than me.
I stand more with the grumpy bouncer mindset who is having a really bad night and considers all further patrons to be given a once over.

Not that this will get your issue resolved, but it looks like there might be something coming to the Ingress community even with the disbanding of the Vanguard program.
Granted we are in 2025 now…

I hope they bring it back. There is a ton of coordination and education that happens in the Ingress community. It doesn’t seem right to me that Pokemon Go and Wayfarer get Ambassadors but they take that type of role away from Ingress. That’s incredibly frustrating.

There’s lots of Vanguards in my area that support both games but rarely come on the forums to engage…I don’t blame them to be honest.
I actually started with Harry Potter Wizards Unite then ended up on a few of the others that were available but Niantic need to focus on the Community more that just in game events.
@RoIi112 had a great idea last year on Merch & I visualised myself walking around with a Wayfarer Hat and feeling proud of it !!!.

Well that’s me out of wanting to be an ambassador.
I am going to guess that some Ambassadors have had their post flagged… I wouldn’t worry about it to be honest.

while we are here… when the current ambassadors step down, and the new ambassadors join, can the new ambassadors #free26thdoctor? 10 years ban for acting under influence of a sense of humour does not make any sense

Why when we step down? Whats the difference between them and now? Rules of the forum apply no matter who is ambassador and they will have the same influence we have/had.

I was on holiday when that ban hit so I’m not sure what tipped the scales. I do miss their contributions.
On the flip side though, I do appreciate that the Forum is (hopefully) a welcoming and useful place for all Wayfarers. I think there were times our friend would push the line, then jump over it to possibly advocate for anarchy…
So it’s tough to know what to do when the Forum is filled with both folks that understand their ‘humor’ and new folks that don’t know or understand what is happening.
Adding that I really enjoyed much of their content e.g. Favorite Photos etc. but I would strongly but heads with them on other topics. I think that if they could have scaled back their energy a bit that they would still be here and (rightly/wrongly) questioning everything.
