While we appreciate good sense of humor, it can’t come at the cost of belittling others. Any Explorer is given plenty of time and opportunities to improve their actions on the forum. We take such action when there are repeated violations of policies and guidelines and any case is no different.
Moreover, ambassadors do not have any influence on any suspensions whatsoever. They happen in light of our policies and policies only.
My favorite part is looking at all the things the entire body of past and current ambassadors have been able to accomplish. Even if many of those things can never really be discussed, i think they benefit the community.
The worst part is dealing with individuals within the community who have bad intentions and take out their anger and frustration on you. By no means is that a large part of the experience, but it is some part of the experience.
My favorite part about being an ambassador is being anle to bring up, advocate for, help with various issues and ideas. My least favorite part is not being able to discuss with the community that we are working on such things and them taling their frustrations on us because they think we’re not advocating for them.
Given the number of applications I suspect they’ll receive you likely won’t hear back if you’re not selected. Giving feedback to everyone who applied but wasn’t selected would be a lot of work, and likely not feasible. That was the case in past years, and I doubt it’ll change this year.
Thanks for the reply, I didn’t know it was a thing until a few days ago and a friend told me all about it. I’m always out and about in my local town trying to add more stops into the game for people to enjoy. Even have requests from people to go too their neighbourhoods and create stops for them. A friend said ‘’ That sounds like the perfect role for you’’ so i applied fingers crossed.
