Hi,
Is there still a way to sign up for the Community Ambassador program? I’ve been active for years and am very interested in continuing with Wayfarer and hopefully becoming an ambassador. This would also be very beneficial for our community, as many people have questions that we already help with, so becoming an ambassador would be a great way to give this extra attention.

Welcome to the Forum. Let me see if I can answer your questions :slight_smile:

  • For the last 4 years Niantic have annually opened spots for (12) new Wayfarere Ambassadors
    • I am hoping Scopely continues this program next year
    • Wayfarer Ambassadors play a different role in the community than Community Ambassadors do
      • Wayfarer Ambassadors help with nominations and reviewing wayspots. We focus on outreach so folks know about eligibility and other nuances of adding, editing, or removing wayspots on the map.
  • Community Ambassadors follow a different application and selection process

Otherwise I suggest being an active participant here on the forum and/or in other venues (Wayfarer Discussion Discord, Wayfarer Subreddit, local groups, etc.)

Ah, so I will just have to wait untill next year and hopefully scopely continious the program?

I’m more active on discord than on this forum, do you by any chance have a link to the server of the wayfarer discussion?

Wayfarer has nothing to do with the PoGo community ambo program. Please see the link I provided for more info. Some of the Wayfarer ambos and other members are community ambos for PoGo, so they may have more info than what the link provides.
