They are two separate things one focussing on Pokémon Go the other on Wayfarer
The Pokémon Go Community ambassador programme has a large number of ambassadors in local communities and amongst other things the organise and hold local events such as raid and community days.
They can also apply to have “campsites” which are extra stops, gyms and powerspots at a specific location to enhance play.
The Wayfarer Ambassadors are few in number and do the range of activities described which involves acting as a voice for the wayfarer community and can include interacting with our global community on this forum.
