Wayfarer Challenge - Brazil

Hello Explorers,

In partnership with our Brazil Pokémon GO team, we are hosting a Brazil Wayfarer Challenge as part of an ongoing campaign leading up to City Safari São Paulo. This is the very first time we are running this type of collaborative campaign and if successful, we hope to bring it to many other City Safari locations in the future. This challenge will only be open to Explorers with at least 1 location type within Brazil (Home Location, Bonus Location, Recently Played Location). Similar to our other challenges, eligible participating Explorers will be able to earn exclusive in-game rewards by clearing at least 1 of the Community Reward tiers.

Please note location resets will not be made for this challenge as this challenge is intended for the Brazil community. Location reset for the larger Explorer community will take place next week post the Brazil challenge.

Challenge Timeline:

  • Challenge Dates - Wednesday, Nov 13, 2024 12:00 PM PST - Nov 18, 2024 12:00 PM PST

  • Reward Distribution - Nov 19, 2024 - Nov 29, 2024

If the number of approvals meets the stipulated goals, all participants who review at least 50 reviews during the Wayfarer Challenge will receive exclusive rewards in Pokémon GO!

Eligibility for Rewards:

  • You are eligible to participate in the challenge if you are an eligible Wayfarer Explorer (meaning you are at least Level 37 Trainer)
  • A target Wayspot contribution resolution goal has been met; and you reviewed at least 50 contributions during the challenge timeline.
  • We will confirm whether the Wayspot Resolution Goal has been met and if so, which Tier. The rewards distributed will be based on the Wayspot Resolution goal status (Tier 1, Tier 2, or Tier 3) at the end of the campaign. Only one set of rewards will be distributed, such that:
    • If at least Tier 1 is reached and you have reviewed 50 or more contributions during the Challenge, you will receive one set of Tier 1 rewards.
    • If Tier 2 is reached, and you have reviewed 50 or more contributions during the Challenge, you will receive one set of Tier 2 rewards.
    • If Tier 3 is reached, and you have reviewed 50 or more contributions during the Challenge, you will receive one set of Tier 3 rewards.
    • Game rewards will be distributed by email in the form of a passcode.
    • Given the above, rewards will expire January 31, 2025
