So, can we change our bonus location to somewhere in Brazil to participate? Doesn’t seem quite clear in the News post.

Please note location resets will not be made for this challenge as this challenge is intended for the Brazil community. Location reset for the larger Explorer community will take place next week post the Brazil challenge.

Oh, I had only just reset my bonus to help Boston! But I’m not from Brazil anyway so I suppose I’m not supposed to help
Thanks for the clarification. I’ve never changed my bonus location, but may keep Brazil in mind for the future.
Isn’t that unfair to the people around the world who want to help, but don’t have a bonus location change available?
Unless you are part of the Brazil community this Challenge is not planned for the rest of the world.
Rio de Janeiro and São Paulo, both have their state names, so don’t
be mistaken. If anyone wants to help, population wise they are the best spots.
I appreciate your willingness to support the Brazil community. At this time, I would prefer we allow the Brazil community the chance to leverage their community reviewing power and collectively reach the tiers. As you can see, Tier 3 is only at 20k, an amount the global community could knock out of the park in no time but also stripping the Brazil Community of the opportunity to earn rewards reviewing their own community contributions.
Presumably this challenge will be full of duplicate reviews from the imports that not everyone can see in their game?
Will leave it to the locals then

This read to me like it did to @ScrawnyMeowth1 , that we could set a bonus location to participate. Glad they have made that clear now, and maybe they can limit it to home and play in future. Something to think about if they do extend it as you highlighted.
Well, that’s why I asked if we could change our bonus location to take part, as there wasn’t anything about that. It’s now been clarified.
These types of challenges could help bring in new reviewers, or those that may have stopped to come back. If this is what happens, and the reviewers stay, it will help keep the queue down.
I also like that this is being done in conjunction with a large PoGo event this weekend in Brazil. These PoGo events have Wayfarer booths, and while those are great, not everyone is going to do reviewing during a large event in-person. Now Wayfarer has something extra to tell players about, let them know about the rewards, and further explain that there are other challenges that happen from time to time.
